GMMTV nominated as TPDA 2025 Award Laureate.

MFA congratulated GMMTV for its outstanding role in promoting Thai culture, Thailand's image, and Thainess among international audiences

On 12 September 2025, Mr. Nikorndej Balankura, Director-General of the Department of Information and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, and Ambassador Tharit Charungvat, Secretary-General of the Thailand Foundation, jointly announced the Laureate of the "Thailand's Public Diplomacy Award 2025" (TPDA2025). The announcement came after the meeting of the Foundation's Board of Committee on 4 September 2025 that decided to confer the TPDA2025 to GMMTV Company Limited, in recognition of its outstanding role in promoting Thai culture, Thailand's image, and Thainess among international audiences.

GMMTV produces a wide array of entertainment media namely series, dramas, films, and variety shows, which have earned popularity worldwide. The company also plays an instrumental role in promoting Thai language and Thai tourism through travel programs, and supports the Thai entertainment industry through fan meetings, concerts, and exhibitions that showcase Thai arts and culture. In addition, GMMTV also actively collaborates with Thai Embassies and Consulates-General in promoting Thai entertainment industry in many countries.

The Public Diplomacy Award was initiated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and the Thailand Foundation with a view to honor individuals, groups, or organizations, both Thai or foreign, with remarkable achievement in enhancing the status of Thailand as well as in promoting the positive image of Thailand, Thai people and Thainess in the eyes of foreigners. The purpose of the bestowal of the Award is also to encourage awardees to continue their meaningful works and to increase the public awareness on their participation in driving forward Thailand's public diplomacy agenda.
