BLOOMINGTON, IL - Initial roadway milling operations are scheduled to occur beginning the week of Monday, October 12, 2026, on Hershey Road, from south of GE Road to Jumer Drive. This construction operation should be completed by Friday, October 16, 2026. Roadwork project schedules may change depending on weather and other factors.
This stage of the project will involve milling asphalt from the street. During construction, traffic will be permitted throughout the area, but it will be impacted by construction operations. The contractor will be staging operations to help maintain access.
While the street will be open to traffic, motorists are encouraged to consider alternate routes until the project is complete. The street will be fully reopened as soon as the entire project is complete.
