PORTLAND, Ore. - In partnership with the LPGA, The Standard announced last year a three-year sponsorship of the Portland Classic, the longest-running LPGA nonmajor tournament. Now called The Standard Portland Classic, this year's tournament is being hosted Aug. 14 - 17 at the historic Columbia Edgewater Country Club.
Along with showcasing world-class competition from the LPGA's top golfers, the event features a celebration of community and family-friendly entertainment.
"The Classic is more than a golf tournament - it's a celebration of excellence, perseverance and community," said Amy Malagamba, vice president of Corporate Marketing at The Standard. "We're honored to support an event that not only showcases elite athletes but also uplifts our city and inspires future generations."

Tournament Golf Foundation (TGF) is a local Portland area nonprofit comprised largely of volunteers who donate their time and provide the primary operations for the Portland Classic. Established in 1972, the group is now comprised of more than 50 local individuals and business leaders.
