The Green Wave will host ESPN's SportsCenter, at 1 p.m. CT on campus Thursday, Oct. 9. The flagship sports news program will broadcast live from Berger Family Lawn, giving students and fans a unique opportunity to be part of the national broadcast.

ESPN studio host and anchor, Matt Barrie, will be on-site to lead the program, along with analyst Tom Luginbill. The duo will bring viewers the latest sports news, highlights and features as part of ESPN's ongoing College Football coverage. Additionally, on Thursday, Barrie will host a special 4 p.m. edition of SportsCenter live from campus, providing updates and insights ahead of that evening's 6:30 p.m. game, pitting the Green Wave (4-1 overall, 1-0 American) against visiting East Carolina (3-2, 1-0) at Yulman Stadium.

Tulane head coach Jon Sumrall, members of the Green Wave's cheerleading and dance teams and the Tulane University Marching Band will also be on hand for the broadcast.

Parking for those wishing to attend the live SportsCenter broadcast in person will be available beginning at 12:30 p.m. in the Loyola Garages on Freret Street and West Road. All other parking lots (TISM, Diboll Garage, Oak, Tailgate Village, St. Rita and Ursuline) will open at 4 p.m. for gameday.

Tickets are still available for Thursday's game and can be purchased by calling 504-861-WAVE (9283), logging onto TulaneTix.com or visiting the ticket office at the James W. Wilson Jr. Center.

SportsCenter, ESPN's flagship program, is a daily sports news television program offering breaking news, highlights, features and in-depth analysis from award-winning journalists, with multiple live editions airing daily. Every week during the college football season, the 1 p.m. CT edition of SportsCenter originates live from the location of that night's ESPN Thursday Night College Football game.
