Chinese Ambassador to The Gambia Liu Jin Meets with Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Gambians Abroad, H.E Sering Modou Njie

On January 6, H.E. Ambassador Liu Jin met with Honorable Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Gambians Abroad, H.E Sering Modou Njie.

Minister Njie expressed gratitude for China's strong support for The Gambia's national development. He reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the Republic of The Gambia to the one-China principle, firmly opposes any form of separatism and external interference in China's internal affairs, and supports all efforts undertaken by the People's Republic of China to safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity and to achieve national reunification.

Ambassador Liu commended The Gambia for its commitment to the One-China Principle and its firm support for China on issues concerning core interests and major concerns, and said that China is willing to further deepen political mutual trust with The Gambia, jointly uphold international equity and justice, and promote global peace and stability.
