The Head of State expressed gratitude for the support of Ukraine during the full-scale Russian invasion, in particular for assisting Ukrainians who have found temporary refuge in Moldova.

"Your political support is extremely important. We are grateful for your backing of our territorial integrity and sovereignty. I believe we share a common vision for our future EU membership, and I hope we will walk this path together," the President emphasized.

The meeting focused in particular on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine and Moldova, especially the consequences of Russian strikes, which have also caused power outages in several Moldovan cities. Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Alexandru Munteanu discussed responding to Russian threats and strengthening bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.

Moldova's Prime Minister assured continued support and announced the government's decision to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, including generators and medicines.
