Deltombe’s 1-over effort highlights Tarleton State’s Round 2 at NCAA Regional Tournament in Lubbock

Deltombe now leads the Texans in the tournament at +8 (79-73), tied-23rd on the individual leaderboard.

The Texans remain in 11th after the second day in the 12-team field at +49. Tarleton State is 22 strokes behind the cutoff mark for the NCAA Championship, which is the top five teams.

The Western Athletic Conference Co-Golfer of the Year, , is second on the Texans this tournament at +12 (77-79), tied-43rd. led the Texans after the first round, and now sits at +15 (76-83) for tied-53rd. sits a stroke behind her at +16 (81-79) for tied-56th. improved by three strokes from Round 1 to Round 2, now at +21 (83-80), tied-61st.

Wake Forest remains atop the team leaderboard, now at even-par, followed by Texas (+8), Iowa State (+26), Arizona (+26) and UC Davis (+27). Wake Forest's Carolina Chacarra is now alone at the top of the individual leaderboard at -4 (69-71).

The third and final round is set for Tuesday, kicking off at 10 a.m. Tarleton State will be grouped with Florida Gulf Coast and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, starting on the back nine. Fox will tee off at 10:55 a.m., Guzman at 11:06 a.m., Fernandez at 11:17 a.m., Depadt at 11:28 a.m. and Deltombe at 11:39 a.m.
