Governor Lombardo Releases Statement on Nevada’s August Jobs Report
CARSON CITY, Nev. - Governor Joe Lombardo today released the following statement on Nevada's August jobs report:
"Nevada's unemployment rate is below 5% for the first time since February 2020 - and our economy is continuing to add jobs. These results reflect what happens when you create a business environment built for growth and diversification. From cutting taxes and burdensome regulations to making strategic investments in infrastructure, energy, and workforce development, we're laying the foundation for more businesses, more jobs, and more opportunity for Nevadans."
The Department of Employment, Training, and Rehabilitation's August jobs report is attached.
