Public Notice: Proposed Lease Amendment and
Solicitation of Competitive Interest
ADL 222630
Pursuant to AS 38.05.945
(USGS Quad Map Tyonek D-6)

Pursuant to AS 38.05.070(c) and AS 38.05.070(d), the Southcentral Regional Land Office (SCRO) has made a Preliminary Decision to amend the existing 10-year lease issued to EL WLL Owner LLC to increase infrastructure in support of the adjacent, privately owned commercial recreation lodge, and increase the lease term to 30 years. The site is located near Skwentna, Alaska, within the NE1/4 of Section 20, Township 22 North, Range 15 West, Seward Meridian, Alaska.

The public is invited to review and comment on this Preliminary Decision, and/or declare competitive interest in developing the site for a similar purpose. A copy of the Preliminary Decision can be found at https://aws.state.ak.us/OnlinePublicNotices/default.aspx. All comments and declarations of interest must be received in writing at the above listed mailing address or e-mail on or before 11:59 PM on May 29, 2026. To be eligible to appeal DNR's Final Decision, under AS 38.05.035(i)-(m), a person must have submitted written comments during this comment period.
