Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responds to a fire on Brandon Avenue

Released: April 23, 2026 at 2:45 p.m.

Winnipeg, MB -At 12:47 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2026, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service responded to reports of a fire in a house in the 400 block of Brandon Avenue.

At the scene, crews found smoke and flames coming from the house. Firefighters used an offensive attack and declared the fire under control at 1:07 p.m.

Paramedics assessed two patients and transported them to hospital in stable condition.

The fire is under investigation. No damage estimates are available.
