Brown Bag Music Series Returns

The City of Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department along with the College of Musical Arts at BGSU are pleased to announce the return of free musical performances for the community to enjoy at the Simpson Building this Winter and Spring.

People are invited to bring their lunches and come together as a community to socialize before the event. Hot and cold drinks will also be available for purchase as well.

The scheduled dates for these performances are as follows:

• Friday, January 24, 2025: A Musical Theater Extravaganza!
• Friday, February 21, 2025: An afternoon with Chris and Ellen Scholl
• Friday, February 28, 2025: Highlights from Mozart's Magic Flute, featuring students from the BGSU Opera Theater
• Friday, March 21, 2025: Voice students from the studio of Dr. Sarah Luebke
• Friday, March 28, 2025: Shannon Lottie, flute, and Stephen Eckert, piano
• Friday, April 11, 2025 Winners of Wayland Chamber Music Competition

Doors open at 11:45 AM and the performances will take place between 12:15 PM and 1:00 PM. The Simpson Building is located at 1291 Conneaut Avenue.
