On the sidelines of the "Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week," a meeting took place between the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, and the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Head of State emphasized that Kazakhstan attaches great importance to strengthening comprehensive cooperation with Nigeria, the most populous country in Africa and one of the largest economies on the continent.
In turn, Bola Ahmed Tinubu reaffirmed his commitment to collaborative endeavours aimed at elevating bilateral relations to a qualitatively new level.
In this context, the Head of State invited the President of Nigeria to visit Kazakhstan on an official visit.
The parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in the trade and economy, transport and logistics, energy, and agriculture sectors.
The interlocutors exchanged views on topical issues on the international agenda, noting the importance of intensifying co-operation within multilateral structures.
