Kansas Corn Growers Association Elects Splitter as President, Reelects Board Members

Feb. 3, 2026-At its annual meeting held at the Kansas Corn Symposium in Salina, the members of the Kansas Corn Growers Association elected board members for the northwest, north central and northeast districts. Jeff Albers, Denton was reelected to represent the northeast district; Brett Grauerholz, Republic, was reelected to represent the north central district, and Brent Rogers, Hoxie, was reelected to represent the northwest district. Emma Jenks, Perry, retired from her industry at-large position on the board. KCGA members approved the 2026 KCGA Resolutions and heard KCGA and National Corn Growers Association updates.

Following the annual meeting, the KCGA board elected a new slate of officers at its reorganizational meeting. The 2026 KCGA officers are: President Matt Splitter, Sterling; Vice President Brett Grauerholz, Republic; Secretary Tanner McNinch, Ness City and Treasurer Jeff Albers, Denton. Also serving on the 2026 KCGA board are: Brent Rogers, Hoxie; Ben McClure, Hugoton; Kent Moore, Iuka; J.D. Hanna, Silver Lake , and Kylee Geffert, Humboldt.

"I am excited to represent and work on behalf of the Kansas Corn Growers as their President," says Splitter. "The coming year will be full of policy and market challenges, but we are ready to put in the work to move KCGA forward. I work with a board full of incredible farmers whose leadership will help KCGA accomplish great things."
