Mosquito fogging has commenced across New Providence as the Department of Environmental Health Services deploys its new fogging machines in targeted communities. This initiative forms part of the ongoing mosquito control programme to reduce mosquito populations and minimize the risk of mosquito-borne illnesses.
Areas include:
Prince Charles Drive and surrounding communities
Sherwood Drive (east and west)
Eastern Road (including northern sections)
Fox Hill Road (east, west and south)
Soldier Road (west)
Bernard Road (north and south)
Village Road (west)
Yamacraw Hill Road (north and south to the sea)
Golf Course Boulevard (west)
Blake Road (east)
John F. Kennedy Drive (south)
West Bay Street (north)
Bay Street (east and west)
Western Road (south)
Mount Pleasant Village and Adelaide Village
Adelaide Road and Roberts Drive (Coral Harbour Road)
Residents are encouraged to do their part by eliminating standing water and maintaining clean surroundings. Please note that fogging activities are weather-dependent and may be adjusted as necessary.
