DGA Statement on New Mexico GOP Primary Results

DGA Executive Director Meghan Meehan-Draper released the following statement in response to Gregg Hull becoming the Republican nominee for governor in New Mexico:

"As New Mexicans feel the pain of high costs, attacks on health care, threats to personal freedoms, and an extreme and chaotic agenda coming out of Washington, they deserve to know their next governor will fight for them - not serve as a rubber-stamp for Donald Trump. As Mayor of Rio Rancho, Gregg Hull let Trump leave New Mexico taxpayers holding the bag for his campaign. At every turn, Hull has failed to show that he would put New Mexicans ahead of loyalty to Trump and MAGA leaders, and the DGA looks forward to making sure voters reject him in November."
