Chinese Consulate General in Brisbane Holds a “Conversation with Dr Consul-General”

On 9 May 2026, the Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Brisbane held a "Conversation with Dr Consul-General" with the students from Political Science and International Relations Society of the University of Queensland. Consul-General Dr Ruan Zongze delivered a keynote speech followed by Q&A. Deputy Consul-General Ms Li Suyun hosted the event, and young diplomats from the Consulate-General participated.

Dr Ruan introduced the achievements of Chinese modernization and the development of China-Australia relations. He welcomed Australian friends to take advantage of the visa-free opportunity and visit China more often, gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and contemporary China, broaden their thinkings and horizons, and become friendly envoys between the two countries.

The students engaged in interactions actively, and the atmosphere was cheerful and friendly.
