Synovus and Columbus Clingstones hit it out of the park for youth sports

COLUMBUS, Ga., Sept. 26, 2025 - Synovus has contributed $7,000 to youth sports programs through its Synovus Slams program, a partnership with the Columbus Clingstones, the Atlanta Braves® Class AA minor league baseball affiliate. The initiative involved pledging $1,000 for every grand slam hit during the Clingstones' inaugural season at home and on the road, with seven grand slams recorded.

The contributions will support Little League Baseball and Softball in Columbus and Whitesburg Christian Academy in Huntsville, Alabama. The funding will expand access to sports and inclusive spaces where children can learn teamwork, build confidence and develop leadership skills.

Through Synovus Slams, each swing of the bat by a Clingstones player carried impact beyond the scoreboard, providing opportunities for the next generation.

The Columbus Clingstones are the Double-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. The 2026 season at Synovus Park includes 69 home games starting Friday, April 3 against the Chattanooga Lookouts (Cincinnati Reds) and goes through September 6.
