The Jamestown/Stutsman Development Corporation recently toured Sunward Steel Buildings, Inc. to learn more about the company's operations and the work taking place at its Jamestown manufacturing facility.
During the visit, Sunward Steel's leadership and team shared updates about the facility and provided a closer look at its manufacturing operations. The tour also created an opportunity to discuss workforce development, internships, and opportunities for women in manufacturing.
Manufacturing plays an important role in the local economy, and visits like this help JSDC better understand the opportunities and challenges facing area employers. Connecting directly with local businesses also helps guide conversations about how JSDC and its partners can support workforce needs and continued business growth.
JSDC thanks the Sunward Steel team for welcoming us and sharing more about its work in Jamestown. We also thank the North Dakota Department of Commerce, David Lehman, Richard Garman, and Sydney Helgeson for including JSDC in the visit.
We appreciate opportunities to connect with the businesses and partners contributing to Jamestown and Stutsman County's economy!
