Stratus Technologies Japan Formally Becomes Penguin Solutions Japan

Combined strengths of Penguin Solutions' and Stratus' product portfolios solve customers' most complex AI computing challenges - from the data center to the edge to the cloud

Tokyo, Japan - April 21, 2025 - Penguin Solutions Japan, Inc. (Penguin Solutions: Nasdaq: PENG) today announced the company's brand transition from Stratus Technologies, Inc. to Penguin Solutions, Inc. is anticipated to be completed on or around 23 April, which includes Status Technologies Japan (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President: Yoshitake Matsumoto), now Penguin Solutions Japan.

Founded in 1986, Stratus Technologies Japan is a market leader known for delivering high-availability, fault-tolerant computing solutions to customers across a broad range of markets. In 2022, Stratus was acquired by SGH, which rebranded to Penguin Solutions^®, Inc. in October 2024. This rebrand was a part of the company's strategic transformation from a holding company into a robust end-to-end infrastructure solution provider in AI and beyond.
