Timmons Votes to Support South Carolina Residents, Businesses, and Farmers

Congressman William Timmons (SC-04) released the following statement after voting to support South Carolina residents, businesses, and farmers impacted by Tropical Storm Helene and to fund the government through March 14, 2025 as part of H.R. 10545, the American Relief Act:

"It is imperative that we provide President Trump with the maximum amount of leverage possible when he returns to the White House next year. It took us a while to get here, but tonight we were able to provide him with a much-needed runway to get our country back on track when he is sworn in on January 20, 2025. We secured many of the provisions President Trump asked for out of this bill, including aid for states like South Carolina where our residents, businesses, and farmers were devastated by a catastrophic storm just a few months ago. I look forward to working with President Trump and our unified Republican government next year to address our national debt and deficit, reduce federal spending, restore fiscal sanity in Washington, and put America first."
