Jayapal Statement Commending Dow Constantine’s Service

SEATTLE, WA - U.S. Representative Pramila Jayapal (WA-07) released the following statement commending the prolific tenure of King County Executive Dow Constantine after his announcement that he would not seek reelection:

"Dow Constantine has been a dedicated civil servant, leading King County for the last 15 years. His leadership helped our county weather the pandemic, served as a bulwark to protect immigrants from the first Trump administration, and made key investments in early childhood education and public health.

"I also appreciate Dow's commitment to keeping our county economically strong and culturally vibrant. He has been a strong partner with me and others in our Congressional delegation in delivering for the county's residents, and I'm grateful for his leadership. I thank him for his service to our community and our constituents and look forward to the many ways I am sure he will continue to contribute."
