Student Philanthropy Week spotlights connections, belonging

Noah Masen serves as Phi Kappa Tau's philanthropy, service and social chair. A double major in marketing and human resources, Masen said fraternity members will dedicate their fundraising efforts toward the GVSU's Children's Enrichment Center's Student Parent Support Fund.

"We want to aid parents who need assistance to help them eliminate a barrier to their college degree," Masen said.

Delaney Morrin is a junior who is studying wildlife biology. Morrin has been a Bowling Club member for three years. Money raised by club members next week will go toward travel, tournament fees and other expenses.

"We were able to get new uniforms this year thanks to people's generosity from the 2023 Student Philanthropy Week, and we are really excited about the new design," Morrin said. "We have a bunch of new first-year students, so we are hoping for a lot of donations."
