One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Amador County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have traffic controls in place to perform construction and maintenance activities on State Routes 26 (SR-26), 49, 88, and 104 in Amador County next week.

State Route 26

  • One-way traffic control takes place from Joyce Road to Williams Road for tree on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control takes place from Dry Creek Bridge to China Street for drainage work beginning Monday, May 18, 2026, through Friday, May 22, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

State Route 88

  • One-way traffic control takes place from West Clinton Road to Ridge Road for tree work beginning Sunday, May 17, 2026, through Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control takes place from West Clinton Road to Climax Road for tree work beginning Tuesday, May 18, 2026, through Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control takes place from Matson Drive to Hilltop Street for highway construction work beginning Sunday, May 17, 2026, through Friday, May 22, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

State Route 104

  • One-way traffic control takes place from SR-88 to SR-49 for tree work beginning Tuesday, May 18, 2026, through Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
