Chinese Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Xiao Jianguo Meets with the New Board of Directors of Chung Hwa School Kiudang

On 23rd July , H. E. Ambassador Xiao Jianguo received the new Board of Directors of Chung Hwa School Kiudang, led by Chairman Yong Boon Tuan. Both sides exchanged views on deepening cooperation in promoting Chinese language education, and people-to-people exchanges.

Ambassador Xiao highly appreciated the School's over 70 years of dedication to preserving Chinese culture, and its active contributions to enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of China and Brunei. He noted that China-Brunei relations have now entered a new phase of working towards a community with a shared future. He expressed hopes that under the leadership of the new Board, Chung Hwa School Kiudang would continue striving for excellence in education, cultivating more envoys of China-Brunei friendship. The Embassy, he added, would continue providing support to the school's development.

The school expressed gratitude for the Embassy's longstanding support and stated that it would increase investment in digital education and teacher training to further improve its quality and contribute more to the friendly relations between Brunei and China.
