The 26th Meeting of ASEAN-India Joint Cooperation Committee convenes at ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat
The 26th Meeting of ASEAN-India Joint Cooperation Committee, held today at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta, welcomed the strong progress in ASEAN-India cooperation across all three pillars of ASEAN Community and the full implementation of the Plan of Action (POA) to Implement the ASEAN-India Partnership for Peace, Progress and Shared Prosperity (2021-2025) and its Annex, which concluded in December 2025. The Meeting also exchanged views on cooperation priorities under the POA to Implement the ASEAN-India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (2026-2030) and reaffirmed the commitment of both sides to build on existing initiatives while exploring new and emerging areas of cooperation.
