Autumn Budget 2026: What it means for our customers

The Government's Autumn Budget included a number of measures aimed at easing energy and fuel costs for households and businesses. Here are some of the key announcements that may be relevant to our customers:

  • Households in council tax band A-D will receive a £100 Household Energy Support Payment.

  • The 5p Fuel Duty freeze and HGV road tax holiday will continue to mid-2027.

  • The 4% tariff on kerosene heating oil imports has been suspended.

  • Zero VAT on electricity bills will continue to July 2027.

These measures are designed to help reduce the financial pressure many households and businesses continue to face.

While any support for energy consumers is welcome, we understand that managing heating costs remains a concern for many customers. That's why we're committed to providing not only reliable fuel deliveries, but also practical support to help customers budget with confidence.

Whether you need help planning ahead for winter or would like to spread the cost of your heating oil, we're here to help. Our Monthly Payment Scheme gives customers the ability to pay for their heating oil in manageable monthly instalments rather than a single upfront payment.
