FASB Issues Proposed 2027 DQC Rules Taxonomy

Oct. 27, 2026 - The Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) staff has issued Proposed 2027 Data Quality Committee Rules Taxonomy (DQCRT) for public comment. The related Release Notes describe the proposed additions or improvements to the 2027 DQCRT.
The comment period for the proposed 2027 DQCRT ends on November 20, 2026. Comments should be submitted directly to the FASB. The SEC staff encourages filers, investors, analysts, software service providers, and other interested parties to participate in this public review to continue to improve the process for creating and using XBRL-structured financial statements.
