August 13, 2026

HARRISBURG - Rep. Bryan Cutler (R-Lancaster) announced today that multiple schools across the 100th House District have received grant funding from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency's (PCCD) School Safety and Security Committee (SSSC). This funding is meant to be used for school safety and mental health.

Five school districts received grants; They are:

- Lampeter-Strasburg School District received $214,530.
- Penn Manor School District received $328,012.
- Pequea Valley School District received $157,143.
- Octorara School District received $189,770.
- Solanco School District received $227,233.

"This funding will better help our schools support their students," said Cutler. "Our students deserve the best possible environment to learn in, and these grants will help provide stronger and safer environments for every child in our schools."

School safety and mental health grants are open to public school entities, including school districts, career and technical schools/centers, intermediate units, and charter schools. Funds will advance the SSCS's goal of ensuring that all Pennsylvania students can learn in safe, healthy school environments by helping school entities address basic safety and mental health needs.
