Crime Map and Updates

Welcome to our crime map. You can search by address, date range, case number, or specific crime type. The map includes serious felony crimes, vehicle prowls, thefts (except shoplifting), and arrests beginning in Nov. 2020. Click on icons for more detail. Notable Trends

  • Two aggravated assaults reported this week with one still an open investigation. Officers arrested the suspect in the other case after he spit on them during a theft arrest where he stole a case of wine from a venue setting up for a wedding.
  • Two commercial burglaries with one still an open investigation. Officers arrested the other suspect who broke windows to five businesses, possibly more. He stole a laptop, computer screen, tablet and cash from one business. He fled from officers during initial contact but was ultimately arrested.
  • One rape reported that is an open investigation. The victim knew the suspect.
  • Nine thefts reported this week with three bikes stolen. One had its cable lock cut from a car bike rack. One had an air tag on it and was recovered in Tumwater. Two were cell phones and in one case it was recovered by an officer from an EcoATM. Officers arrested a suspect in one theft who was on video stealing a neighbor's wallet from a cart outside their home.
  • Four vehicle prowls reported this week. A firearm was stolen in one case.

  • Officers responded to 1,039 calls for service this week.
  • This week's photo is from our annual Youth Academy, our summer camp through Olympia Parks, Arts, and Recreation. Seventeen middle schoolers joined us for a week of learning and fun.
