More Than $884,000 Awarded to 64th District, Says James

HARRISBURG - Rep. Lee James (R-Venango/Crawford) announced more than $884,000 in state grant funding has been awarded to six school districts in the 64th District to provide for safer learning environments.

The grants were approved through the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency's (PCCD) School Safety and Security Committee.

The allocations are as follows:

• Oil City Area School District: $177,523.
• Franklin Area School District: $176,600.
• Titusville Area School District: $176,223.
• Cranberry Area School District: $150,091.
• Valley Grove School District: $134,072.
• Venango Technology Center: $70,000.

The PCCD's School Safety and Security Committee administers programs designed to improve school safety and security, strengthen behavioral health supports, and provide training and technical assistance to schools across Pennsylvania.
