Gadsby’s Tavern Museum Closed

Due to a pipe burst on Thursday, January 23, Gadsby's Tavern Museum (134 N. Royal Street) is closed to the public from Friday, January 24 through Sunday, February 2. The Office of Historic Alexandria asks all guests to check their social media channels and website for updates on its re-opening.

Guests scheduled to attend programs or tours at the Museum are being contacted for cancelations or rescheduling when available. The Tavern Games Night program scheduled for January 31 at Gadsby's Tavern Museum has been moved to the Lloyd House at 220 N Washington Street.
