Homicide Investigation
New Orleans Police are investigating a murder by shooting.
According to investigators, police were called to the 3200 block of Loyola Avenue shortly after 4:10 a.m. on a report of a shooting.
Responding officers found a male victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. New Orleans EMS confirmed the victim was deceased.
The Orleans Parish Coroner's Office will confirm the cause of death and the victim's identity.
