Weekly Traffic Impact Report Week of August 27, 2026

9th Street Corridor Improvements

Project Status

Expected to be completed by February 2027.

Traffic Impacts

Lane closure, expect delays between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

  • 9th Street from North Carpenter Road to L Street

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Coffee Road Pavement Rehabilitation Phase 2

Project Status

Expected to be completed by December 2026.

Traffic Impacts

Expect Lane closures, lane shifts, flaggers, road closures, and detours.

  • Coffee Road working north and southbound between Norwegian Avenue and Scenic Drive.

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Intersection of South Carpenter Road and West Hatch Road

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of September 2026.

Traffic Impacts

Traffic control will be in place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Intersection of South Carpenter Road and West Hatch Road into Riverdale Avenue
  • All turn-pockets off West Hatch Road entering the subdivision will be closed.
  • Detour in place that routes vehicles southbound to West Whitmore Avenue and back around to Vivian Road to enter from the far west side of the subdivision.

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Woodland Lift Station

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of January 2027.

Traffic Impacts

Periodic traffic control with lane shift and closures.

  • on the corner of Woodland Avenue and Poust Road

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

North County Corridor

Traffic Impacts

  • Roselle Avenue opened, one lane each direction between Claribel Road and Plainview Road, 25 mph.
    Intermittent closures may still occur as construction continues along the corridor.
  • Terminal Avenue will be closed to through traffic between Townsend Avenue to Plainview Road

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Codoni Lift Station

Project Status

Expected to be completed by the end of October 2026.

Traffic Impacts

Periodic traffic control with lane shift and closures.

  • Codoni Avenue between Leckron Road and Finch Road

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Claus Road & Merle Avenue Roundabout

Project Status

Expected to be completed by February 2027.

Traffic Impacts

  • Merle Avenue between Claus Road and Thomas Court will be closed to through traffic during construction.
  • Residents within the closure area will continue to have access to and from their homes.

Motorists are advised to drive slowly with caution and use alternate routes when possible.

Highway 99 Water Main Crossing Improvements I Street, G Street, and Sierra Drive

Project Status

Expected to be completed by March 2027.

Traffic Impacts

  • Shoulder work along westbound Sierra Drive at Highway 99 overpass
