We still have time, we can still voice our opinion on the pro-war economic plans of the Brussels bureaucrats and the Hungarian Left, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said in a video posted on his Facebook account on Friday. The Prime Minister encouraged everyone who has not yet done so to complete the national consultation questionnaire by 30 November.

In the video, Mr Orbán said a million people have already completed and sent back the national consultation questionnaires. At the same time, he thanked everyone who stated their opinion.

"It is important that they did so because Hungary is at a crucial juncture. Brussels laid its cards on the table, the bureaucrats tabled a war plan which would jeopardise everything we have achieved in recent years, including family support, the reduction of household energy bills and even the tax exemption of mothers," he stated.

The Prime Minister added that "parallel with the Brussels plans, plans, voices, experts have also emerged in Hungarian politics that would fulfil Brussels' demands." They would tax pensions, want to increase the personal income tax and would even do away with the reduction of household energy bills, he listed.

"We still have time, we can still voice our opinion on the pro-war economic plans of the Brussels bureaucrats and the Hungarian Left," he said.

He added: "I'd like to encourage everyone who hasn't yet done so to join us and to tell us what they think," and to complete the national consultation questionnaire by 30 November.
