Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus M.Ryzhenkov receives copies of credentials of Ambassador of Ghana

On April 8, 2026 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, received copies of the credentials of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ghana to the Russian Federation and to the Republic of Belarus concurrently, Koma Jehu-Appiah.


During a constructive dialogue, the sides discussed the preparatory process and substantive agenda of the visit of the President of Ghana to Belarus scheduled for this year, as well as the organization of joint political and economic events.

They analysed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in key areas, primarily industrial cooperation, agriculture and education.

The interlocutors reaffirmed mutual support within international organizations. The Minister welcomed the efforts undertaken by the Ghanaian side at multilateral platforms to combat neocolonialism and the slave trade.

As a result of the talks, concrete steps were outlined for further development of cooperation. The meeting was held in an atmosphere of trust and mutual understanding.
