Governor Ron DeSantis Appoints Two to the Lake-Sumter State College District Board of Trustees

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Clarence "Steven" Munz and Samantha Scott to the Lake-Sumter State College District Board of Trustees.

Clarence "Steven" Munz

Munz is the Owner and Operator of Galaxy Home Solutions, Inc. and 5M Livestock Company. A veteran of the United States Army and active in his community, he is the founder of The Villages Pop Warner Football League. Munz is the recipient of the 2012 Mid-Market Governor's Business Expansion Award, presented by former Governor Rick Scott.

Samantha Scott

Scott is a Realtor for Connie Mahan Real Estate and the Director of Marketing for Mike Scott Plumbing. Previously, she served as the Executive Director for the Sumter County Chamber of Commerce. Active in her community, she currently serves as the Secretary of the Sumter County Youth Center Board of Directors and is a member of the Realtors Association of Lake and Sumter Counties, the Sumter County Farm Bureau, and the Sumter County Fair Association.

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
