Governor Landry Issues the Call to Convene for a Special Session with the Louisiana Legislature

Baton Rouge, LA- Today, Governor Landry issued the call to convene the Louisiana Legislature into an extraordinary session. The legislature will consider the election code, dates, deadlines, and plans for the 2026 election cycle. The special session will begin on October 23, 2025, and end no later than November 13, 2025.
