PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia (the Chamber) has recognized the 50 most community-minded employers in the Greater Philadelphia region as part of the Civic 50 Greater Philadelphia. The Civic 50 Greater Philadelphia, conducted in partnership with the Philadelphia Foundation, Points of Light and other local partners, provides a standard for corporate citizenship and showcases how employers use their time, talent, and resources to drive social impact in their communities and company. The initiative is modeled after Points of Light's national Civic 50 initiative. A full list of honorees can be found here.
"The Civic 50 Greater Philadelphia recognizes companies that are making a real difference in their communities," said James Campbell, Senior Director, Member Experience & Growth, the Chamber. "These companies show that when businesses invest in their people and their neighbors, everyone benefits. We're proud to recognize their leadership."
The Civic 50 Greater Philadelphia honorees are private and public companies and other employers operating in the Philadelphia region. They have been selected based on four dimensions of their community engagement program:
