Celebration to be held for Feast of St. Ignatius, 150 years of Jesuit Ministries in Detroit

The Detroit Jesuit Community and Detroit Jesuit Ministries will host an evening celebrating the feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola and 150 years of Jesuit Ministries in Detroit on Friday, July 31.

Mass will be concelebrated by His Eminence Joseph William Cardinal Tobin, Archbishop of Newark, and Most Reverend Edward J. Weisenburger, Archbishop of Detroit.

The event will take place in Ss. Peter and Paul Jesuit Church, located at 438 St. Antoine in Detroit.

Event schedule is as follows:

  • 5 p.m.: Registration
  • 5:30 p.m.: Remarks from Cardinal Tobin
  • 6 p.m.: Mass
  • 7 p.m.: Reception with hors d'oeuvres

Registration is required for this free event. Please RSVP at the link below to reserve your space.

This event has limited capacity and last year sold out quickly. Walk in registration is not available.

Event parking is in the Detroit Mercy Law parking lot across from the courtyard entrance of the church on Larned Street (one-way eastbound).
