CHCA was featured in a segment exploring the growing need for quality home care in America. The segment focused on the challenges facing the caregiving industry, including an aging population and the increasing prevalence of Alzheimer's disease and dementia.

Cooperative Home Care Associates (CHCA) started with 12 home health aides. The cooperative now employs more than 1,600 staff. Together with PHI, a nonprofit founded by CHCA in 1985, CHCA maintains an employer-based workforce development program that provides free training for over 600 low-income and unemployed women annually and serves as a significant driver of employment in the Bronx.
