Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has adviced MEAG on the acquisition of the newly constructed "Drewespark" retail park in Wismar. The investment was made for the real estate special fund MEAG Multi-Sector Immobilien.
The retail park is located in a central inner-city position on Schweriner Straße, with direct connections to the B 106 and the A 20. It offers more than 14,000 sqm of lettable space on a site of approximately 38,000 sqm.
A Gold certification from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) is currently being prepared for the new building. The property features a green roof and photovoltaic systems covering a total of 6,000 sqm of roof area. The sustainability concept is further enhanced by an e mobility charging infrastructure with twelve charging points (six high-power chargers with a charging capacity of 400 kW each).
Lead Partner Dr. Maren Stölting (Real Estate, Munich) commented:
"This transaction highlights the continued strong appeal of high-quality, sustainably designed retail parks in prime locations. We are delighted to have supported MEAG legally on this investment."
