Commissioner Causey announces Victim Assistance Center in Orange County to assist residents affected by Tropical Storm Chantal

North Carolina Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey has announced the opening of a Victim Assistance Center (VAC) in Carrboro to help victims of flooding from Tropical Storm Chantal.<_o3a_p>

Representatives from NCDOI will be present to answer insurance-related questions and to provide assistance.<_o3a_p>

The VACs will be held from noon to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 10 and on Friday, July 11 on the first floor of the Drakeford Multipurpose Room, located at 203 S. Greensboro St., Carrboro.<_o3a_p>

"These VACs will help to give in-person and on-the-ground recovery assistance and provide insurance-related support to those directly impacted by Tropical Storm Chantal," Commissioner Causey said.<_o3a_p>
