TRAFFIC ADVISORY UPDATE
Atmos Energy has notified the City that they have successfully sealed the gas leak, however, the existing steel line is aged and requires further repairs. Crews are currently excavating to locate a section of uncorroded pipe in order to weld a protective sleeve onto the line. Due to this issue, the repair timeline has been extended. Work will continue during daylight hours, including Saturday, May 17, and is expected to be completed by Monday afternoon, May 19.
Traffic in both directions on Josey Lane remains affected. Southbound drivers are still advised to avoid turning east onto Rainwater Lane from Josey, and should use Jackson Road as an alternate route. No service outages or public safety risks have been reported. Drivers are urged to proceed with caution when traveling through the area.

Atmos Energy crews are conducting emergency repairs to address a gas leak at the intersection of Josey and Rainwater Lanes near City Hall. Both directions of Josey Lane are affected. Southbound drivers should avoid turning east onto Rainwater Lane and use Jackson Road instead. Crews will work overnight to minimize traffic disruption, with repairs expected to finish by tomorrow. No service outages or public safety risks have been reported. Drivers are urged to use caution when traveling through the area.
