Plastic Surgeon William DeBrock, M.D., Joins FirstHealth & Pinehurst Surgical Clinic

PINEHURST, N.C. - FirstHealth and Pinehurst Surgical Clinic are pleased to welcome plastic and reconstructive surgeon William DeBrock, M.D.

Meet William DeBrock, M.D.

DeBrock specializes in breast and body plastic surgery and recently completed a six-year integrated residency program at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine in Chapel Hill. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Indiana University School of Medicine.

DeBrock said his approach to plastic surgery is collaborative, thoughtful and focused on his patients.

"I practice patient-centered care, and the patient is always in control," he said. "I am here to listen to their goals and use my expertise to bring that to reality. Plastic surgery is the most collaborative of all surgical specialties. I was drawn to the partnership with the patient and the relationship needed to achieve desired outcomes."

DeBrock said he chose to pursue a career in medicine because he has always found deep meaning in serving others.
After spending time in Pinehurst and Southern Pines during his residency, DeBrock said he and his wife knew the Sandhills was where they wanted to raise their family.

"Unsurprisingly, I love to play golf," he said. "My wife and I love to hike and cook together, and we now have a newborn daughter, so we are having a great time exploring the Sandhills with her."
