Frontier Airlines Launching New Service From San Diego International Airport to Chicago O’Hare, Salt Lake City and Austin, Texas, This Week

SAN DIEGO - June 12, 2025 - Ultra-low fare carrier Frontier Airlines (Nasdaq: ULCC) launched new daily nonstop service today from San Diego International Airport (SAN) to Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD). This is ahead of nonstop service to Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas (AUS) beginning tomorrow. With these new routes, Frontier will serve eight destinations nonstop from SAN. To celebrate, America's Greenest Airline is offering fares as low as $59*.

Frontier Airlines has introduced sweeping changes to its product and customer service offerings, ushering in 'The New Frontier.' Among the enhancements is UpFront Plus seating, an upgraded seating option with extra leg and elbow room in the first two rows of the aircraft. Customers in UpFront Plus enjoy a window or aisle seat with extra legroom and a guaranteed empty middle seat.
