REP LIEU HONORS LOCAL VETERANS DURING ANNUAL VETERANS DAY EVENT

LOS ANGELES - Ahead of Veterans Day, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D-Los Angeles County) hosted his annual community forum honoring local veterans in Los Angeles County. The Congressman, an Air Force veteran, invited veterans to share stories that capture the joys and sacrifices of their service.

"I was pleased to once again host our Conversations with Veterans event, which provides veterans with a forum to share their experiences and helps our community gain a deeper understanding of the sacrifices they make for our country," said Congressman Lieu. "Every year, getting to hear these stories-both the good and the difficult-helps guide my work in Congress on behalf of veterans. Our veterans have bravely fought for and defended our nation, and it is imperative that we, in turn, ensure their needs are fully met."
