Production Set Collapse Results in Numerous Injuries at Skywalker Production Facility

On the afternoon of September 8th, five people were injured when scaffolding collapsed at the Summit Skywalker facility on Lucas Valley Rd.

The structure fell during setup for an event. One of the injured people was trapped.

Firefighters transported three of the patients to hospitals. The others were examined at the property and released.

Of the transported patients, one was hospitalized and the other two had minor injuries.

Marin County Fire Department requested San Rafael Fire Department's ladder truck which is equipped with specialized rescue equipment along two fire medic ambulances.
