WHAT: The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Athletics Department will announce a major new giving initiative designed to strengthen the future of UH Athletics and provide greater support for Rainbow Warrior and Rainbow Wāhine student-athletes.

A legendary UH coach will join UH Athletics leadership for the announcement and discuss the importance of community support and investing in the next generation of student-athletes.

WHY:

College athletics is changing rapidly, with increased emphasis on long-term financial support, student-athlete resources and name, image and likeness (NIL) opportunities. The new initiative will recognize major supporters of UH Athletics while helping provide resources for scholarships, student-athlete development, NIL opportunities, facilities and other priorities.

The announcement will highlight significant commitments from longtime UH supporters and outline a new giving opportunity designed to build a sustainable future for UH's teams.
