Gilbert PD Investigation: Request for Public Assistance

Gilbert, Ariz. - Gilbert PD has identified, located, and arrested the third subject allegedly involved in an ongoing sexual assault investigation. 43-year-old Jose Guzman was arrested based on probable cause on February 18, 2026, and booked into the custody of the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office on the following charges:

  • Four counts of A.R.S. 13-1406(A), Sexual Assault
Charged or submitted offenses are merely allegations. All defendants are presumed innocent until pleading guilty or being found guilty.

ORIGINAL RELEASE:

The Gilbert Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a person of interest in a sensitive and ongoing investigation.
This investigation began in December 2025, when we received a report alleging long-term sexual abuse and violence. Through our investigation, it is alleged that the victim's husband solicited men online to sexually assault the victim.
Gilbert PD has made two arrests in connection with this case, including the victim's husband; however, charged or submitted offenses are merely allegations. All defendants are presumed innocent until pleading guilty or being found guilty.
We are now seeking help in identifying a third individual captured in this video.
