Notice of Funding Opportunity Available for Two Weeks Offered by the Palm Beach County Community Services Department

Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners, Community Services Department, invites eligible entities to submit proposals for the FY 2027 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program and the Minority AIDS Initiative (MAI). Proposed programs and services submitted in response to the FY 2027 NOFO for these funds should address strategies and best practices for the provision of core medical and support services for low-income persons with HIV. The purpose of the Act is to improve the quality and availability of care for persons with HIV and their families, and to establish services for persons with HIV who would otherwise have no access to health care. HIV Elimination Services aligns with the Board of County Commissioners' Strategic Priority of Public Safety.

Services to be funded and contracted include:

Core Medical Services : Early Intervention Services, Health Insurance Premium and Cost-Sharing Assistance for Low-Income Individuals, Medical Case Management (including treatment adherence Services), Mental Health Services, Oral Health Care, Outpatient/Ambulatory Health Services (including laboratory diagnostic testing and Specialty Outpatient Medical Care), Substance Abuse Outpatient Care- MAI only

Support Services : Emergency Financial Assistance, Food Bank/Home Delivered Meals, Health Education/Risk Reduction (MAI only), Medical Transportation, Non- Medical Case Management Services, Other Professional Services-Legal Services, Outreach Services- MAI only, Referral for Health Care and Support Services (MAI only).

Proposers may submit a Proposal (s) for funding of more than one service/program. The Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) is available, and the deadline to submit a proposal is 12:00 p.m. on October 7, 2026.
